Competition Terms and Conditions

• Competitors must be 18 years old or over at time of registration.
• The contestant must not be a professional singer at the time of the competition, and must not have previously worked as a professional singer anywhere else.
• All contestants must sing at least one Vietnamese song in the competition to be eligible to win. When performing live, contestants are responsible to advise the band of the key and the music style of their song.
• Contestants are required to arrive on time and follow time schedules provided by the organisers.
• Contestants must perform live in all stages of the competition. Contestants will be allowed some time to practise with the band for the final round only.
• Mekong Management reserve the exclusive rights to refuse entry to any contestants.
• Judges reserve the rights to criticise and provide feedback to contestants based on their performances in order for the contestants to improve throughout the competition.
• All contestants must be present for the full duration of the Grand Final event. This includes arriving before the scheduled start time and remaining until the conclusion of the show. Failure to stay for the entire duration may result in disqualification and forfeiture of any prizes or titles awarded. 
• The chairman of adjudicators will be responsible for the final decisions in the event of marking problems, ties and interpretation of adjudicators. All decisions made my the adjudicators are final. No discussions will be entered into. 
• Mekong Mounties Group reserve the exclusive rights to use all photos and video recording of the competition. 
• Mekong Management will have the exclusive rights to disqualify any competitors who failed to meet any of the competition terms & conditions.
